Fabulous

This will be a short update since it's late. Ric says that today is the 12th straight day that he has felt really good! He seems to be getting stronger every day and more like himself each day. Just wish he could put some weight on although I keep telling him maybe he's just going to be a skinny Ric from here on out! He has been doing alot of walking this past week which is helping his sleep. He finally slept 5-6 hrs on Thursday night and nearly 8 hrs Friday night which is what we'd been praying for! He has a doctor's appt tomorrow so we will find out what is next and two more treatments this week (tomorrow chemo only and Friday Avastin & chemo). He has been getting some slight mouth sores from the chemo (which makes his mouth very sensitive) and the diarrhea has finally subsided. Prayers for the mouth sores to go away and the diarrhea to stay away please. Today was my birthday and it was a fabulous day because Ric is continuing to do well - that's the best birthday present I could ever have! Thanks for all the birthday greetings. Please keep these friends & family members who are also battling cancer in your prayers - Frank, Octaviano, Vermalinda, Janelle, Alan & Becky!
