A brief & to-the-point update- Mom (Roxanne) might be posting later with more details. I just got to the hospital after work and decided to fill everyone in! Dad had surgery this morning on a blockage in his colon. The were able to cleanly remove it and put the colon back together. They also were able to do the second biopsy during surgery, and the surgeon said that the biopsy results would be back by Wednesday at the latest. He's been recovering in his room since, and will most likely be here a couple days. Visually, it's a little hard seeing him with all the tubes & IVs in him, but I know that it's just a little stepping stone, on the way to recovery. He told me he is feeling overall a lot better, but just tired. He's sleeping now, and Mom says he's been like that most of today. In & out of sleep... Pray for a quick & healthy recovery from the surgery & expedited results for the biopsy. We really want to get to the next step in this process so we can start fighting the cancer.
