Today is Monday

The annoying nose tube is out!! YEAYY! :) Dad got to have it removed at about 9:30pm last night.
He's sitting up in the chair, reading some messages/emails. He really enjoyed hearing all your comments and messages, he even got one from his dear friend Martin in Nicaragua.

I know I mentioned before how there are hundreds of people praying for him, and I wasn't kidding... Nicaragua, South Africa, Oklahoma, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Idaho, all different parts of Washington... and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. It's AMAZING. I can't help but feel emotional when I list these out, because I know that God answers the prayers of those who diligently seek him.

As always, thank you so much for all your prayers and support. It doesn't seem like enough to just say "thank you". :)

Love-
Holly

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."

You guys are super rain dancers. Thank you for the great attitudes as usual.

Hope today continues well. The power of prayer is AWESOME!

  2. Ric, I have been reading over these blogs and catching up with what you have been going through. Holly is doing a great job updating us all, thank you. My wife and I will be praying for you and Roxanne through this time, Praying for you to have the physical strength to indure this and the spritual strength to be comforted in Faith that God Knows what you are going through and he hears the prayers of His people.

  3. It's nice to hear some good news. Holly what you said last night on the blog, I as your aunt and Ric sister, I totally agree on what you said. Your dad needs all his rest and I believe in my heart the only person that should be beside your dad is his mother grandma Martinez and you and Rocky and your mom & aunt Aurora. When I had my son in ICU on Sept 26,2010 fighting for his life as a mother you just want to be right by the love one that is fighting for his life. Yes, we to had alot of friends (from all over) and family support. It doesn't matter what visitors you have it does get overwhelming and yes you feel like you have to entertain. I love my family too (especially my nieces and nephews who wanted to be there for Michael, but unless you been where you and I are at now, we just want to protect them from germs from the outside as it is already bad as it is that they are fighting for their lifes, but to add more because someone showed up sick or not knowing they where caring a virus of some type of cold or whatever, ends up getting our love one sicker. Ric, I know you are going to read this and so I want to say that I know you wanted to see me yesterday but it is very hard for me still to go to a hospital(gets very emotional for me). Please know that I do love you and pray every minute for a quick recovery for you and that you will beat this. You are a strong loving person, you will get through this I believe that in my heart. My girls (Isela and Marisol) want their silly uncle back home soon. Oh and my grandson Bryan sends his love to you too. Love you Ric. Roxanne, you too are a strong woman and you guys will get through this. I am here for you guys just like you where for me and have been and still are .
    Love Elvia.

  4. You can add my church to the list. I brought your name up in prayers on Sunday, and I'm keeping you in my daily prayers.

I also sent this blog link to Mark Housman and Robert Willis.

Great to hear that the NG tube is out. Those things are annoying as anything. Heal up and get home soon.
